today i was out for a ride and after doing a 4ft stair drop, i heard a snap and noticed that i broke one of my nipples. i went and replaced it and tightened the spokes, and noticed that i have some flat spots in my new front wheel. im not going to try to remove the spot myself but i was just curious towards how a flat spot is removed from a wheel. Thanks a lot

Reduce spoke tension at the flat spot and increased tension either side can improve the flat spot. You may also fing the walls of the rim are splayed out at the flat spot, so you may have to squeeze them back in.
