Does this seem ok for a Sunday morning ride? Any alternative routing suggestions?
Burke-Gilman to Sammamish River Trail to Wilmot Park to Woodinville-Snohomish Rd, turns into Rt. 9, right on Maltby Road. Eat big breakfast. Return home same way.

Burke-Gilman to Sammamish River Trail
Exit at Wilmot Gateway Park
Exit the park and left onto 131st AVE NE
Right onto NE 175th St
Straight across 140th AVE NE, 175th becomes Woodinville-Duvall Road
Right onto Woodinville-Duvall Road
Left onto 156th Ave NE
Becomes 75th Ave SE in Snohomish County
Becomes Bostian Rd. where it bends right
Left onto Paradise lake Rd., cross SR522
Right onto Yew Way
Left onto Maltby Rd.
Enjoy the cinnamon rolls!

Not entirely on topic, but our new warehouse facility is just around the corner from the Maltby Cafe, so now I'll have a reason to be there every Friday. :)

You better plan extra long rides for those days. I can never get out of that place without putting down what seems like 2000 calories. It's just too good.

SR-9 isn't so bad once you get used to riding on it. Next summer after a couple of rides with SiR, you'll be so used to riding on divided highways that a road like SR-9 seems like nothing more than a crowded day on the MUP. :)

+1, I've come to look at 9 as a scenic country road, at least the section between Snohomish & Sedro-Wooley.
Though the further south you are on it the more it sucks it seems.
