Next year I'll be starting college at Drake and I was wondering if anyone has any information on what race team would be the best to join in the area. I'm hoping for a smaller, close-knit team if anyone has any ideas? I know about the Des Moines Cycle Club Race Team but that seems to be a little out of my way. Thanks for the help, guys.

Does Drake have a team? Things have changed since I've been there. (Though I am heading back that direction now).

No, Drake doesn't have a team. I checked out BikeIowa and they didn't have a whole lot of teams in the Des Moines area. There's DMCC Race Team, but that just seems like too big of an organization for my tastes.
