So I was at a garage sale today and asked about bikes. Turns out a new carbon tri-bike had just been purchased and the old bike was in the basement. He brought it up and it is a Torelli. It has Campagnolo down tube shifters, Campy RD (not record or super record), Dia-compe aero brakes levers and not dents but some scraped up paint on the stays.

I don't know the model and didn't write down any of the info from the decals. He wants $75. Should I call him back and buy it? Were there any Torelli bikes that had junky frames?

It's almost gotta be worth $75. The guy was able to ride it in tri's and still like the sport enough to spend $ on a new bike. I'da bought it.

I can still call him and go back. I am on the fence since I have a garage full of bikes right now and don't want to pull the trigger unless it is likely to have a pretty good upside.
