Bought some IRC Redstorms a couple weeks ago, put about 300 miles on them..

Good Solid Training Tire - zero flats, doesn't seem to have much wear.. The casing is very firm, if pumped to max pressure 130 psi, zero compression, this is a good thing for clydes to avoid the dreaded pinch flats.

$35.00 for a set of 2 tires.. Tires weighed in at 235g each, not the 205 advertised.. Still a nice lightweight tire.. Grip is a solid B+, not quite as grippy as Vittoria Rubino Pros or Pave CG's but they are also 1/2 the price..

My 2 favorite clyde tires are the Conti 4000's and Vittoria Open Pave CG Tires.. The Pave's are just slightly wider at 700x24 and are fast and have a lot of grip..

Worst Tire this last year are the Hutchison Fusion Team Issue tires from Performance.. 5 flats on 3 rides, gave them to a lightweight friend and he had no issues, just not a clyde friendly tire, too soft a casing.

Thanks! I really got to gets some IRC's. I put a GP4000 on my roadie. Felt nice for the first 2 or 3 minutes. After that , felt like just another tire. For the price, not worth it IMO. I go for the durability. Suppleness at my weight just isn't a factor.:D..I can buy nearly 4 IRC's for the price I paid for one GP4000. Yeah, support your local LBS!:roflmao2:

As long as it rolls well and durable, it's good for me!:p

I've had litewait friends that had issues with Hutchison (sidewall separation), so I avoid them!

They also sell a slick version of the tire, bought some on ebay, will be here this week..

FYI, the IRC Tubes work well for deep dish wheels, like you have at 55mm stem length, 4.00 each.. Not the lightest but so far no flats..
