Hey,
I'm looking to buy a new mountain bike. My price range is between $2000-$3000. It needs to be a good bike because I will be racing very much. Also, it has to be a hardtail. Any advice, please let me know.
Thankyou,
Max

$2000-$3000 will get you a mighty fine hardtail.
Do you have a bike shop where you live? If so, what brands do they sell?

ya. I work at a bike store that sells trek and specialized.
Thanks for the reply

You work at a bike shop and you are asking US what to get? :)
So, since you work at a shop and have bikes/info readily available, narrow your choices down and then show us what you're considering.

Ok, we carry specialized and trek mountain bikes. I'm rethinking this a little here, should I go for an Epic Comp Full Suspension or a Specialized Stumpjumper HT. With the Epic I get full suspension which might be better for hard trail riding in Florida. But with the hardtail I get a much lighter racing machine that will be much better for climbing. Which one should I go for?
