quite pricy. I actually saw a guy on one the other day. They claim they ride nice.

Renovo (http://www.renovobikes.com/panda-gallery/) is making them out of engineered (composite) bamboo. However, I must say that I like the Panda's bamboo-stalk tubes.

Renovo makes beautiful, highly functional wood bikes. I've got a friend that works there.

There's actually quite of few Bamboo Bike companies around nowadays. Some buddies of mine in New York have been making bamboo bikes for a while now. And though they've had a few issues in the beginning, they say their frames are holding up well now. I think use a mixture of bamboo and carbon
