Hi,
I have an old titanium Merlin mtb frame from 1991, the top tube length is 21.5"cc and the size is 17.5"cc. Its a beautiful frame that's hardly been ridden, and i was lucky enough to get it very cheap (about £50!). After riding across France last year with a friend - and having an amazing time - I've decided i would like to build this frame up as a touring bike, but I don't know too much about touring sizing and set up.
The problem I have is that this frame is really a little small for me. i'm about 6"1' and have quite a long back and shorter legs (inside leg roughly 33"). So is there anyway that i could build this frame up to be a comfortable and efficient ride?
thanks,
Huw
