Hey everyone,
I recently traded my 10 year old mountain bike for a used Del Sol Lowboy pedal forward cruiser. I injured my neck a couple of years ago and had been riding the mountain bike less and less. It just didn't feel right anymore. If the last few days are any indication, I'm addicted to biking again. I love the easy mount, flat footed take offs and stops, laid back riding postion, 7-gears, and rear coaster brakes. But mostly I'm finding the joy of riding again. I feel kind of buzzed, probably from having my metabolism revved up again. It ain't fast but for me it's more about appreciating the journey anyway.
I live in Minneapolis and there are great bike trails everywhere. Any other cruisers out there?
