Now that the rosters are set (http://tour-de-france.velonews.com/article/93739/2009-tour-de-france-start-list) we can start this. Just respond to this thread with your picks and get them in before the Prologue starts this Saturday. I will tally the points at the end. Winner gets respect and admiration of the BF community.:)

Just as an FYI - missing a few riders, ie. Ag2r-La Mondiale.

Just as an FYI - missing a few riders, ie. Ag2r-La Mondiale.

AG2R have confirmed their full team:

Jose-Luis Arrieta
Cyril Dessel
Hubert Dupont
Vladimir Efimkin
Stéphane Goubert
Lloyd Mondory
Rinaldo Nocentini
Christophe Riblon
Nicolas Roche

I believe all teams are now confirmed. The only exception being confirmation from Quickstep that Boonen is not riding and Davis is.

I'm not changing my picks, but I noticed that Sammy Sanchez isn't in the tour this year.
Does anyone know why?

He wants to focus on the Vuelta. Yeah, I was surprised too considering how well he did last year.

I had Denis in my original team but, fortunately, dumped him after the TT. He was one of my picks for the podium and outside bet for the MJ. However, now I am picking him as an outside bet for the Lantern Rouge!!

Seriously, I hope he does well in the mountains.

I made a prediction that he would bail out before the tour is over. I hope not, but it doesn't look good for him after his effort in the Giro!

Where was this stated?

It is stated in the paragraph at the top of the View/Set Lineup page. It is also, probably, in the Official Rules somewhere.

Begin selecting your fantasy team by clicking on the "add" link next to the rider's name you want to add from the list below. You have a $500 dollar budget. Once you've selected 15 players, your roster is full and valid. Remember, Stage 1-4 is the Practice Phase. Once Stage 5 starts, your score will be reset to zero and your roster locked as the Official Race Phase Begins. You will still be able to modify your starters and bench for each stage. For Scoring and Prize info Click Here and full details of the game, see Official Rules

Fantasy points earned in prior stages will not be restructured following the expulsion of any riders from the race.

By virtue of tie breaker, imarshed wins. Nice job! Picking Cancellara for yellow was brilliant, I can't believe I didn't do that and Schleck for white jersey.

PowerPuff gets Lanterne Rouge :).

I have a couple of changes in mind for next time. One or two rider changes on rest days, most compative, two points per day in white, green as opposed to 1 point, any others??
