Foo - Oh man things are not enjoyable right now

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just needed to blow of a tiny bit of steam, or express my lack of steam if you will.
There are three days of school left for the year and I don't think I'm going to make it. Trying to keep up with school has completely taken away from my biking, and I am now completely out of shape and the beautiful bike I worked so hard to earn is now in disrepair. I'm dying from the routine of life and stresses and lack of biking.
I need some way to spice things up. An adventure or exploit or something, anything. I have half a mind to throw my bike, a few essentials, and some cash into a car, point it somewhere and drive. I thrive on new experiences and self sufficiency, but havn't experienced either in so long.
I'm tempted to plan a MTBing camping trip but I'd have no one to go with me, and wouldn't want to do it alone, nor is there anywhere I know of that would be suitable.
Okay I'm done, sorry to waste the board space.

things will look different in another three days ... remain focused on the prize and you'll have plenty of time for biking this summer.

dont ever give up on school. school now will ensure a (insert bike of your dreams) later in life. Also, i know about what you are saying, School ended 3 weeks ago for me and now I'm working full time and going to night classes. I have 2-3 days a week I can ride, but many times they are taken up by school work, or work work :(
just keep looking forward to the end of school, you will get there, but the road may not be easy.
good luck

No way. It's better done with school. Life is much better when you have your weekends and night times to do what ever you want.

You're telling me doing something you enjoy that has a tangible short-term reward is worse than going for 12 years doing mind-numbing work without a tangible reward?
No.
And thanks Kenna.
