There's not much info about these bikes, at least not online. Anyone have any knowledge about these swiss made bikes and value? I bought because of the great nervex pro lugs, and i love it reguardless. i would just like to know more about it thanks.

are you sure it's a "Super" and not what the decal says: a "Competition"? I'm not all that familiar with the nuances, but if you do an archive search there have been several threads about Mondias in the past (several members own one or two). Then there's Craig Griffiths, who has this here website:

Anyway, they are great bikes and I'm sure it was worth whatever you paid.

yea on the head badge it says mondia super. From the stuff i read on line the "competition" sticker is confusing. Unless of course it's the "super" which was the racing model. Here's what confusing me, it has the nervex lugs that came on the "special". It has no braze-ons whatsoever, which came on the model with nervex lugs the "special". I'm sure someone out there can clear this up. Sheldon's site mentions them briefly. Noted for having the nervex lugs and being well made.

I really love it, regardless. Silky smooth for such a old bike. I hope to apply period correct components gradually.
