I'm moving and life's details have caught up with me quite a bit. I still commute and still hit the yoga classes and still run but it's been a bit compressed and hard to focus on fitness and even harder to bag a long ride.

Tonight I said to heck with it and dedicated just one measly hour towards riding and I rode as hard as I could. Thought I was going to pop a lung or a hamstring but it felt better than any pill or drink ever could.

But no matter how great it is there's always somebody faster. Here I am powering into the wind on my little Mango 2009 Speed TT about to burst a lung and some Japanese guy riding a full suspension mountain bike passes me and says "Nice Bike" in English.

I wanted to step it up a notch but despite the bikes I could see his motor was tougher than mine on any bike in any conditions.

In the great scheme I don't care. I needed to blow the lungs out and bust a sweat and I did.
