Foo - My shoes smell

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
grrr - forgot my booties yesterday -- and of course it rained on me. Rained on my for 15 miles Saturday too.
And will rain on me this afternoon - as well as the rest of the week.

And don't I watch the news this morning and the one channel kept bringing up the fact how very and unusually wet June was - and looks like it's going to be the same going into July.
Can we ship some of this wet stuff down to Texas to cool them off? My shoes need some down time to breathe.

I went to work one day in a total downpour. When I got there, I went to change. Shirt, yup. Pants, yup. Socks... Nope. I had to spend the day wearing soaking wet socks. Not fun.

nope 12 years car free. Commute year round. Go shopping with a backpack, sometimes put my rack on and add the panniers and/or trunk.
And when I travel it's by bus, train or fly - but usually by bus as it's the cheapest. Had one till several years ago - I took it off the road - didn't have a job at the moment and was looking for a job in the city - and had planned on commuting and taking bus as why should I pay the sometimes $5/day parking for downtown, etc, and then loaned it to ex-husband who mushed it. Never replaced it or looked back. Now if I worked out in the suburbs - I'd go get another one. Even had a couple people want to give me their old cars (and have them fixed, etc etc) - didn't want the hassle.

We don't want no stinky feet causing Yankee rain down here.
^^
Fine, you go roast then - I'll keep my Yankee rain!
Oh and just FYI ----- when I got home from the commute - I jumped in the car with Mom and rode to renew her telephone, etc and on the way home she stopped at the corner store and I jumped out and ran in and in the space of 5 minutes ---- the skys opened up and you could hardly see it was raining so hard.
And I just know it was because I still had my bicycle clothes on ----- it's bound and determined that I shall be rained on every day this week. Will be getting wet this afternoon too.
I am surprised you have not melted yet.............. I mean I saw what happens to witches in the rain in the Wizard of Oz.

hehe that's ok, he'll just be wondering why he suddenly develops an annoying tic in his right eye and suddenly for no reason at all slaps himself repeatedly with his left hand ...:p
I have been "beating" myself with left hand for years and years.

Hence the reason he's always going in circles counter clockwise.
