A few may be a bit bogus as they just died in the last year and there may be things like money from movies they just completed before they died (like heath ledger, possibly paul newman).
Some are quite surprising though. I can't believe Marvin Gaye is still making $3.5 million...that's pretty wild.

I am surprised as well, at this. But I do hear a lot of his songs on televison shows, and in the soundtracks of movies.

This is just the 2008 list, if you look back at the other years you will see people dropping off (pun intended) :D. It is interesting that Einstein is still doing well, financially that is.
