worth anything? It's a lugged frame, seems to be in good shape, has a 3-piece crank....someone has offered one to me for $50 & I was curious whether it's worth it and/or whether it's something worth having either to enjoy riding every once in a while or to flip.

If it needs new tires, that's a little high. If the tires are good..... yeah, it's close. You could probably flip it for more than that.

Looks like I'm passing the info along to a friend who had one just like it in the '70s....which is a better deal karma-wise anyway. I gather from other threads it would be a pretty heavy bike even if you had modern wheels, crank, bars, etc. hanging on the frame. I think my '73 Continental weighs in somewhere in the mid '30s....
I assume it has steel rims, if so, clean and ready to ride, it might bring $125. Bikes that need work bring a lot less. If it has alloy rims, then it could bring $175 in clean ready to ride condition.
