It's so nice when all this riding pays off and you see improvements. I did 23 miles last night thru the hillls of York, PA and averaged 18.5 MPH. I am one happy cyclist! :D

Boy that sounds like me. Climbed a certian hill that's around 1k long at 11% grade the other day faster than I ever had and for once was the first one in club up the hill but man getting below 220 is hard. Stopping smoking was easy, not eating is hard.

Had same problem. Thought that biking would help me lose weight. Wrong!! I just ate more and the weight stayed the same.

Took a serious look at what I was eating, added better foods and cut out 500 calories per day. Voila, down to 185 from around 210 in 5 months. Pound a week was kinda my slogan.

It can be done. Find out what works for you and then stick to it.
