Introductions - El Cabron from SF salutes you.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

O' brave commuters.
Sleek roadies.
Hardy touring folks.
Fast recumbent low boys.
Ale-drinking MTB'ers.
I salute you all.
El Cabron from SF, CA here.
Commuter and part-time roadie, and just found this BB. I like it.
Guinness and locally brewed ales are my preference.

Old-ass GT w/XT for groceries.

Hey,
I live in Glen Park, ride through the Mission to downtown and back everyday.
Taquerias, bars, hipsters and various crazies are my commute scenes every day. Kind of like an episode of "Shaft".
Ride roads on the Peninsula, East Bay and Marin on days off.
I don't know how to ride fixie! Some friends have 'em and they're zooming all around town with no problem. Good for them, I say.
Ironically, I come from Orange County but I never seriously rode until I lived up here. When I was growing up in Anaheim, I believed that the car was king and bicycles were for sidewalks. Geez, what a fool.
Best,
El Cabron
Hey Cabron, always glad to see another SF cyclist.

Right on Spider. Cool avatar.
See you on the streets.
Look for the slow fat bastard on a green Soma roadie or black Gunnar 'cross.
Best,
El Cabron

Those are great bikes. I am waiting on a Soma Groove frame. (They are out of stock until August). Those Gunnar frames are sweet, but a bit out of my price range.
