Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I am in my early 30's, in excellent health, but never had a physical. How does one go about getting one? What type of doctor's/hospital provide this? How much do they typically cost and what tests do they do?
I would call one of those 24 hr. clinics, doc in a box places.

Find out through your work who your health provider is. Call that health provider and they should be able to send you a booklet of participating doctors in your area. I would google that Dr's name and see their history. After picking out a Dr you can call their office to make an appt for a general physical. Arrive early enough to fill out some paperwork since it's the first time you will be there. When turning that in, they should be able to inform you about your deductible or co pay.

Your normal general practitioner should be able to do one, no problem. A walk-in like jsharr mentioned might be even easier (and cheaper perhaps too).

Thanks! My company has this all online, but there is a long list of specialties. Would I search for a 'general practice' specialty?

Would I search for a 'general practice' specialty?Yes. Physicals are about as generic and simple as it gets. Usually at a 'general practice' for 'family medicine' (which is more or less same thing) doctor.

True story (I have to preface these now):
My doctor was a gorgeous female about the same age as myself. I started having prostate problems and needed to ... eh-hem... get it checked. She said, "This may be uncomfortable and awkward. But I only have female on staff right now. Do you want me to call someone else in?"
I replied, "Call them all in. Let's make it a party."

I'll probably be doing one of these soon. What about checking cholesterol or other levels of "stuff" in the body?
simple blood test for cholestoral, etc. Go sit in the phlebotomists chair and fill up a few vials and wait for the report in the mail.
