Has this been mentioned here? Four days of punishements, in September 2009, being forced to cycle in France, drink red wine, and partake of Le Fromages Dangereuse!

yeah it has been mentioned and i think it was more than 99 pounds...more like 1200 pounds if self funded or not able to get a sponsor.

I'm doing it on the Mission Space Genie pictured left. I've modified it following advice from Bykht and others on this forum... BEWARE THE DIFFERENT SIZES OF 16IN WHEELS!

Rode the thing to work for the first time today. 17.5 miles there and 18 back. Surprisingly comfortable, although very little difference in gear changes and downhill at speed is interesting. I touched 40mph on a 1 in 4 (25%) descent. I didn't appreciate how much oscillation is going on with a wheel spinning that fast - I've not noticed it on a 700c before.
