My buddy and I rode Monday AND Tuesday of this week.

Monday's ride was about 12 miles (Chimney Gulch with the Apex Loop) - with about 2K feet of climbing - lots of technical switchbacks and some great wooded trails on the downside... it was simply heavenly!

Then yesterday (Tuesday) we did Mount Falcon with the Parmalee Gulch loop...

Another 2K(ish) foot climb...

Parmalee kicked my ass!

A bit sore today ... but I can't wait for Sunday! we are gonna do a 50 mile road ride....

like I say... "man! this getting in shape business - is hard work!"

ouch! that looks like it hurt!

the real question is... is your bike ok?

After I got up and rubbed some dirt in the wound... my bike looked up at me and asked me... "are we gonna ride? or what?!!"
