When was this model introduced? The frame it is on is most likely a 1982, but the serial number reads 1977. So to further narrow things down (I know, petty details in world full of grave matters..) I wonder if this shell was stamped with the serial number in 1977, but not built up until 1982. Something tells me though that these cast shells are eighties vintage?!
