Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I found this video on YouTube, found a compatible hub at my friend's house and built my own Freecoaster. Check it out on YouTube.

The link to the directions is in the description.
I didn't think it would work, but it actually did...too bad the only bike I had with 3/8 dropouts (the hub has a 3/8 axle) was my old Diamondback that barely rides.

It probably not very durable but it's still a neat little hack

Doesn't count until you 180 a 3-stair with it...

I've done that. It was fun, but there was wayyyyy too much slack and I hit my knees of the bars/stem too many times. I want to do it again now that I know how to fakie.

nice thast pretty balling.
taking the pads out is a cool trick but your still riding around on a ****ty hub thats not going to handle too much riding
if you like FC's but still dont want to spit out a ton of cash for an astern or something like that you can get sealed bearing taska ones from flatlandfuel.com pretty cheap. nothing special but whatever

yea but you can get adapters and ive never seen a coasterbreakwheel with 14mm axle so your still on the same boat you were tryin to use that.
and i take it back, they used to be like 40 bucks for the unsealed. i didnt think it was as much as a 100 for the sealed one
