I have enough ferns in my yard, so I don't need them on my bike!

But it is very creative! Is it your bike, Mark?

...and when there are no ferns to be found, there's too much snow! No more white bikes for me!

Dr. D.

I think it's pretty cool how you did that. Is it a Tommasini?

Looks like the Tommasini cutout on the BB tang.

Looks like a pinarello logo to me too. I have a Denny Fuso mountain bike with paint like that...how did you do it?

Here's the step-by-step for the "artsy" part. This was done over a blue/green fade base.

no, I was wrong. I do not have a paint job like that. I didn't notice all of the excellent stenciling. But the silver foil under candy paint is similar.

Would you like one on your Zieleman? :innocent:

Flashbacks to the 70s!
A friend had a 73 mach one that was painted like that, undercoat was silver, and the overcoat faded from dark blue on upper front to black on the lower rear, candy lace paint and pot leaves and anarchy signs done the same way.
Looked sweet, and was done tastefully, the leaves and symbols didn't 'jump' out at you, the only thing that really popped out was a small pic of the freak brothers on each lower rear door corner.

What sort of bar tape and cable housings would one use with that paint job?

Still can't believe you don't know who you did a paint job for especially for how expensive paint jobs are.

Really?

How much should I charge?!?!? ;)

Don't know what they would charge. You can charge what the customer will pay and you can make a profit, after all thats how the free enterprise system is supposed to work. INNIT? I'm not rying to be a wise guy but how can you do a fancy paint job like that and not know who you painted it for. Its a beautiful job and I can only imagine the time and expense you put into it.
