Hey all - I'm pretty stoked as I was invited to show some of my work at a photo exhibit tomorrow featuring Austin photographers. We were asked to submit 5 pieces and that up to 3 would be selected per photographer. The gallery owner asked me to hang 4 photos of the 5 I submitted. Pretty excited. :)

lol - I can only assume you are looking at my website. Those architectural samples are from several houses - one of which is on the market for 4 mill. Bit rich for my blood. ;)

4 mil! Pfffft! I'll take it! Just one of my Contractor trash bags is 3 mil! and I've got a box of 30! ;)

Thanks everyone - really appreciate it. :) I'll take my LX3 to the opening and take some pics tonight.

Rueben - that's a former girlfriend (we just broke up a couple weeks ago). We went up there to watch the sunset that day. That shot wasn't planned - I was fiddling with the camera behind her, looked up and noticed the shot.

Congrats Ravenmore.

I really like the first photo. I think I would like it even more if the cars and boats under the bridge at lower right and the big radio tower things were removed.

I could probably take those out without too much trouble.

BTW, I was thinking photoshop, not ACTUALLY blowing up the towers or pushing the cars into the river, or chasing off the boaters with weapons fire or anything.

dangit jsharr I just finished loading the bazooka ammo in the truck. Lol, actually what would be even harder than all that stuff would be to get my ex in the shot again. :D

The opening was a lot of fun. Tons of people. I have to admit it was kind of fun to loiter around my pics and eavesdrop on peoples comments. :)

I like the 360 bridge pic definitely. The clown on a train is also very good.
