We're planning to ride from Ft. Collins to downtown Denver this weekend. Is anyone familiar with Weld County Roads 19 or 23 between Highway 52 and 160th? We know the roads north of Hwy 52 fairly well; and we'll ride Riverdale Road south of 160th until we can get to the Platte trail.

Although I haven't ridden those roads in a while, as good a bet would be to ride to Ft. Lupton and then south on Denver Ave/Old US 85 to Brighton. Don't take the four lane or 'new' US 85 (although it does have wide shoulders;)) but the old one about 3 blocks east. Here's (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Fort+Lupton,+CO&daddr=County+Hwy-27%2FCounty+Rd-27%2FUS-85+to:County+Hwy-27%2FCounty+Rd-27%2FUS-85+to:40.001846,-104.817123+to:E+160th+Ave%2FCO-7&geocode=%3BFXIFYwId_LfA-Q%3BFYG3YgIdKrjA-Q%3B%3BFUEoYgIdxDLA-Q&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=3&sz=11&via=1,2,3&sll=39.979422,-104.866648&sspn=0.336215,0.679092&ie=UTF8&z=11) a map
