Foo - New Member Here

Hey , just wanted to say hello as I am looking to get into the bike scene. I am currently searching for an entry level road bike and this forum has already been plenty helpful with reviews!

Don't be afraid of buying a used bike. That's where you get the best deals. My bikes are all 12 years old or older, and they work great.

just pickin' with you. I hope you know. Welcome and ask all the questions you want.

And like Michigander said, don't worry about getting a used bike. My first two bikes were used and I rode them religiously with little to no problems.

yeah, used bikes in richmond that are worth it usually sell quickly, i lost a fuji to someone else quicker than my RSS feed to craigslist could refresh itself

I was bikeless for a few months while on bikeforums. Just be patient and get the right one that's right for you. Especially the right size. Nothing like a bike that doesn't fit. It can make you hurt in places you didn't think had hurt potential.

WHAT?! Dang, I was just about to ask where you got your highlights done. I also noticed in our fake pictures that we are both slightly deviant with our left hands (although you can't exactly see mine, rest assured it's being deviant).

I could probably convince my actual girlfriend to do that pose, if you're still up for a night on the town.
