Just in case somebody needs this info in 2012
specialized S works tricross (no longer in production, bad move on Big S part,,, ebay?) , full carbon, full carbon fork, factory rear rack mounts, fits up to 42c tire
Jamis Xenith endura, full carbon, full carbon fork. factory rear rack mount fits up to 32c tire
I own both, spec with flat bats, jamis with drop,, Both have performed flawlessly for many many miles. they both are more comfy than ANY steel bike i have ever owned.
Have done a 1500 mile tour on the tricross, its tough enough to throw off a bridge
