BMX - How am I supposed to manual to 180?!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have a pretty long trick list when it comes to riding a mini ramp or jumpboxes, but when it comes to simple **** like manual to 180 or 180 barspin hops, I'm flummoxed. I even resorted to watching an instructional video for tips. I just don't have the bike control after quitting BMX for 3 years... having to re-learn stuff that you used to do easily is bad enough, but learning stuff you couldnt do before... arghhh!

Try over and over and over. Have someone watch you and tell you what you are doing wrong.

are you Joey Garcia's brother?

I have to re-learn barspin hops, then its time for barspin 180's. does it help to learn them on the ground first? i hate doing barspins unless i'm really high in the air, so i can spin them slow. fast barspins suck. maybe i just have poor hand-eye co-ordination and cant catch them [properly when i do them fast :D
