could you post the address again?
Is it 34th and 2nd Ave?
is it next to Sid's bike shop on 34th St and 2nd Ave?...
or is the address, 34 East 1st Street and it's on the corner of 2nd Avenue?
or is the shop name 'Track Start at 34th'?
I apologize if I do not understand the original post.

i stopped by there when i was out in new york. i was impressed. they have a 3rensho that made me want to cut off my own head. the guy who runs it was super nice. a much better nyc bike shop experience then when i went to bike jerks. i mean works.

So do they carry many different types of bikes? What about the prices? Never mind, I guess I'll check them out tomorrow.

ahah... rereading my first post, there are so many screwups in one line, it looks like it was made with gloves on.
anyway, yes. the appropriate info has been posted in subsequent posts. i still haven't had a chance to stop in. maybe this evening.
stopped by yesterday. It's a tiny place, not too much stuff... some nice frames (that 3rensho is indeed sweet). The guy I talked to was nice. Everybody there was all hipstered out. I picked up some clips & straps I needed, the price was fine. Most useful to me, it was open at 6:30 when I get off work. Unlike isotopesope, I have had good experiences @ bike works but they close at 6.

I stopped by there today, but as orange already said, they don't have much stuff in stock. They seemed more like a clothing store than a bike shop, so I’ll still be getting my bike worked on at bikeworks. In any case, what they did have was cool and the guy there had a nice attitude, so I’ll probably buy something form them in the future.
weird, what kind of clothes do they carry? i may stop by there after work today.

i stopped by there today (i'm in nyc visiting a friend this week.. a side note.. anyone want to take me on a bike shop/vegan restaurant tour?). anyway, turns out the guy who owns the place, brad, is from atlanta and we have some mutual friends. he showed me this super sexy hot pink 46 or 48 cm steel frame (http://www.spicercycles.com/index.cgi?cat=22&sub_cat=Track%20Frames-Steel%20Custom&prod_id=460&cat_desc=Track) .. and, because i'm atlanta folk, he offered to knock 100 bucks off of the $800 price tag. it's so very tempting..
when will the website be online?

so i've been slacking and finally stopped in - nice little shop.
as posted above, it's very small with not much stock - a few sweet frames (yeah.. that 3rensho... wow) and a handful of parts and clothes. a nice guy was working there, chatted a bit, i bought a pair of EAI straps, which are like a world of difference over the crappy, thin, worn out christophe straps i had on there. (like.. hey! they actually grip and i feel like i have control track standing and stopping).
anyway, nice to have these guys around.
