I have a new member in my family. Just picked her up today. A little black kitteh...8 weeks old. She's very sweet & cuddly...not overly curious. She sat curled up in my lap in the car on the way home.

I have no idea what to name her. Here are some pictures of the baby. She is currently climbing up the back of my fleece shirt. :lol:

Interesting suggestion. Poor Zorro. :( it's a girl kitteh, though. She is currently curled up in a paper bag sleeping. And she squeaks when she cries.

just don't name her 'Midnight', my neighbour's cat is named that and I get to hear my neighbour calling out "MIDNIGHT!", "MIDNIGHT!!", "MIDNIGHT!!!" when the sun is still up. I wouldn't be annoyed if her voice wasn't an annoying shriek and could probably appreciate the name, but oh well, that's just how the cards played out.

I liked the idea of naming her using a translation of black, though French didn't really do it for me. So, I went to the Irish translation...I think I like Ceara. :)
