If I went to my bike shop could they call up Schwinn and order it? It's being sold nowhere that I could find.

Thanks, too bad they don't ship/only pickup. But my cousin lives about an hour away from that shop in Texas so I may be able to do something.

Depends on the manufacturer/distributor and their sales policies. The LBS I deal with ordered me two bikes they are not normal dealers for, neither carried by any local dealer. These were a Swobo and a Civia. No idea of Schwinn's policy in this regard.

Many bike distributors do not allow their dealers to do internet sales. Trek, Cannondale, Bianchi and Specialized all have this policy and Schwinn may also.
