Introductions - Greetings from Buffalo, NY

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi, my first post. I'm recovering from a broken ankle and anxious to get back in the saddle. I used to ride between 3,000 and 5,000 miles a year, (Not bad in Buffalo!) but haven't ridden in a few years. I've picked up a 19 year old Peugeot and can't wait to get out and put it to the test. I'm a newcomer to the site and it looks great. Looking forward to everything!

Hi and welcome to the forums. There is a whole plethora of information here and stuff to interest anyone. Get that ankle healed quick! Peugeot is a good machine. Several of my old freinds had one. I used to ride a Trek aluminum. Just switched to a recumbent. Having the time of my life. Enjoy the forums!

What I concider my first real bike was a peugeot. It was light and had alloy rims( I didn't know anyone else besides my brother with anything this fancy). That bike is 26 years old, if it still exists. Lots of good memories there.
