I'm gonna build up a single speed/fixie for my sister, and wondered what people thought about this frame. Its a no name, cheap and all, but it'll serve her purposes.

She's 5'6 with a 32 inch inseam, I'm also wondering if its a decent size for her... Drop your thoughts, i appreciate the help.

wow, she's got some long legs... :)

but yea, the frame looks fine—no dents, minimal surface dinks—and for the price (so far anyways), how can you go wrong?

Yeah I think I have the same exact frame i built up for my wife, only smaller.. I was told it was a Bauer frame, which seems resonable to me. Turned into an excellent commuter bicycle for her, although she drives now that her job is 10+ miles away.

I say get it if you can, solid frame..

Ok well I took some pictures of her bike, just to get an idea of what it could look like..

Definately looks like a deal though I'd try and get her on a 56x56 bike sometime in the next two days to see if it's really the right size. I'd have her go to a bike shop and give it a check see.

Yeah, that's a pretty big frame, even for a woman w/long legs--especially if you take her reach into account. Maybe have her get fitted at a LBS to check. I'm 5'5', 30" inseam...and a 49 frame is about right.

Sauerkraut, Sausage and ice cream make me happy. Or were you referring to the bike?
