Professional Cycling - painting le Tour

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I like your work. Now, if you can sell your art for the same prices as Mr. Nieman, that would be brilliant :D .

Do you sell your bike paintings to poor college students? Want to PM me with a price for some pre-done stuff, or some custom stuff?
My apartment walls are bare. Well, except for a research poster I did last semester. But who the hell thinks that is art?

I'm generally not a fan of the impressionist style, but it seems appropriate for capturing the feel of cycle racing. Very nice.
Add me to the interested list as well.
+1, me too.
Ok I know you're not painting little red Xs.
I can't see them - do you have a site?

i'm trying to paint a stage a day,no promises though,as life has got an habit of getting in the way,i'm sure you know what i mean.
but if the riders can sit on the bike for more than 4 hours each day,i should be able to do a painting a day, especially with you lot cheering me on!
now i need a massage...
a nice bit of scenic for you on this lovely rest day...

willing to bet you would do a brisk business selling lithographs (if you so desired) to the tifosi at a stage
depart/finish/classic mountain stage roadside. likely enough to pay your way to the tour(s) every year-and more. :)

i think everybody wanted Big George in yellow after that big break-away on stage 14
and after years of riding for others..everybody except Carmin slipstream...
That's my favourite. it captures Le Tour for me.

nearly there...
every stage painted!
stage 20 Mount Ventoux
and stage 21 Champs Elysees
that's it i'm done...:twitchy:
off to Poland :D
I like the story and the motion, but the Ventoux almost looks like there's grass growing on it - which is just ... wrong. ;) (<- joke on a Phil Liggett commentary that you may not have heard)
The Champs Elysees pic is just awesome. Congratulations. And thanks for posting here.
