I have a Hyperglide Shimano 11-32t 8 speed cassette. (not sure exactly which one).

Just buying spares. Hard to find the HG 11-32t so I opted for an SRAM PG-850.

I have a Shimano HG50 chain now. Do I need to change the chain? Or no problem?

The same model Shimano chain you now have will work with the SRAM cassette. However, when you install the new cassette, install a new chain along with it.
