this is like my own personal twitter thread.
this race was effin' awesome, great course, wicked climb for KOM, run really well, rolling enclosure, good money, great road surfaces, fans along the course, etc.
too bad I suck so bad that I got to see most of it by myself. it's rather embarrassing when people are cheering for you and you're otb.
1/2/3 field of 23 racers was down to about 12 when I bailed. I'm used to big fields with lots of places to hide. not so much today. BUT, I hope this race happens again, I'll definitely be there.

I actually thought about doing this race but I'd done the 1/2/3 at Mt. Nebo the day before, so my legs were pretty destroyed
