BMX - how much psi in the inner tube??

this morning i put 60 psi in the back and 50 psi in the front , and we found this side walks dat has trees all lined up and under each tree thers like a 3 feet gap and my friend gaped each and everyone of them and i followed right behind him and i did about 5 and on the 6th one i didnt clear it compeletly and BAM my inner tube was leakin air , so i was wonderin if its cause i have too much psi in the inner tub , about how much would u guys recommend ?? and would u guys recommend those EXTRA THICK ones??

i have 110 psi in mine there maxxis 20inchers

dang does that mean the more the better?
high pressure is more for ramp riders than anything, I wouldnt go as far to say that you need 160 psi just because you can but tires that will take it..... I would recommend around 60-90 for regular street riding, 90 being about the roughest I would be able to stand myself.....
and no, the leaking was not likely to be a direct result of the air pressure, but if you don't have tires that are going to take that kind of pressure you could have caused the problem there.....or you could have had a cut in your ire from some glass, and the increase in pressure caused the thread in the tire to slice the tube.....who knows...
bottom line, if your tires are designed to take the pressure there's no problem there, and the only downfall to the extra thick tubes is added weight.....
what if you could fill your tires with helium :0 then u would liek float
=/ i recommend you like 90-95 psi
