"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Christan VdV's garage

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Cervelo, big and bold... I bet Felt loves that shot.
Wish I had 1/4 that inventory.

The frame closest to the camera is a Felt.
Next time they will know to put on neon light flashing graphics just in case....
And does VdV really want to show his inventory, given the burglary of all of DZ's possessions during the ToC this spring?

The green bike looks like a Felt CX.

there is also a felt f15x. what is cooler is the corvette parked in there. there was a feature about him in velonews several months ago that showed it.

Gee, thanks.
My eyes are immediately drawn to the humongous Cervelo screaming from the middle of the shot, not the two small, blurry Felts.

Note that the bike he's holding has lugs and a quill stem :)

That would be his father's bike, not his.
I'd like to see a glamour shot of the Mariposa.

Interesting to note the SRM head unit is on the Cervelo which would imply that he trains on that bike.

or he did train on the bike when riding for csc, and it is now his winter bike back home in chicago...

Or it is a fake bike, some sort of decoy we have never seen before so when his house is broken into the thieves dont actually steal anything of value.

SRM needs to be charged fairly frequently so either the battery is dead or he is using it.

tires need pumped so either they are flat or he is riding it.

because it's inconceivable that a tour contender would have more than one.

Probably, since his team is sponsored by powertap, but I don't see any of those either....
