Hello,
I just want to say hi! I recently retired and would like to get back into cycling. I used to be a semi-serious cyclist over 13 years ago until I crashed and broke my arm. I thought that I had retired from cycling but, I need/want to get into affordable workouts. I miss cycling but, I want to tone it down with more shorter leisure type rides. But, first I need to get my old bikes into shape.

Thanks! For now, I have my old road, Trek 1420, and mountain Trek850. The wife has an REI Randonee. None of them will shift anymore due to sitting. I'm trying to get them up and in working order but other than trying to adjust the cables without any luck. It seems like the other option is to have them looked at. I just wanted to see if there are any online help to get these working again.
