What a wonderful start to the day and a great first ride with a new cycling group!

40+ mm of rain in less than an hour.
Half way up the Peak the heavens open and it pours down on us. Coming back down the hill was a nice slow line of cyclists all riding the brakes.
Mental note for the future - if the water is deep enough to be over your 30mm rim, then it is raining too hard!
