Weird, it's 7:21 central time where I am and daylight.

I checked the shack cam and it should be 8:21 and really daylight in NYC, but the cam says 7:21am and it's still really dark and you can see the building lights.

It's a scam!

The best place to get a burger in NYC is Jackson Hole hands down. Look them up, puts everything else to shame.

Jackson Hole? lol hardly!

There are many GREAT burgers out there other then the franchise chain stores. I'd put Five Guys over Jackson Hole.

Corner Bistro, Big Nicks, Landmarc just to name a few.

Sorry. Didn't know you were the authority on burgers in New York. Your recommendation would be?

Looks yummy - will look that one up the next time I'm there.

Just sent a friend, who lives there, to check on a place that was featured on the foodtv channel - called Minetta's Tavern. Of course the show host went behind the scenes. It was for the "Black Label Burger" which they grind their own meat - but out of top choice meats (tenderloin) and it's served on a brioche bun with carmalized onions and a good cheese. Friend loved it - however it carried a hefty price tag --- $26.

I don't eat burgers meself (well, veggie, and the occasional turkey burger) but In Florida they have a chain called "Steak 'n' Shake." My brother-in-law calls it "Steak 'n' Stomach Ache." I thought that was pretty good.
