Hi everyone,

I'm moving to Kingston, Ontario, in September. Back in the UK, I have been a keen cyclosportif rider, and these events (timed non-competitive mass rides usually over 100-120 miles (165-200km)) have become really popular. Now, I have found a Randonneurs association, and at the other end the usual organisations regulating competitive cycling, but I can't seem to find any central organisation or even a website for cyclosportives in Ontario or in Canada more generally. I know a few such events exist, but is there any such central point? Are there more events than I know? If so, where and when? And if not, why not, and does anyone else want to try to do something about it?

Thanks!

Ask this on the Long Distance Cycling section and I am sure Machka from Alberta will have the answer. I knew someone who did an Ottawa-Kingston-Ottawa ride in support of MS years ago and really enjoyed it.

Thanks, I've posted the question there now too.
