Professional Cycling - Big things from Skil Shimano

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
You heard it here first. This team is going places. Did you see that split today? They had FOUR riders in it! That's a ridiculously good showing from a team no one even expected to see in the TdF.
Umm mate, they're just making the most of their opportunities to be seen while it's still easy to do so. Your comment will have merit if they're still doing it in the mountains but at the moment, they're just justifying their sponsorhip by being seen ... so they do deserve some credit for being professional.

Easy to do so? Not sure I agree. Saxobank, half of Astana, and most of the other "big" teams missed that split...Skil-Shimano was there to jump on it and stick with it until the end. Their guy finished fourth behind Cav, Thor, and whoever the Cofidis guy in third was.
That's a superb showing for a team that got brought in as a wildcard.

Excellent work, getting the team on TV, showing some enthusiasm. They could have just sat on the back of the field for the entire tour....kudos to them for making the best of this opportunity!

They are doing a decent job, but remember ISD in the Giro? They seemed to get a guy in every single break, and it got them noticed. I hope we see similar aggression from Skil-Shimano. Yesterday was a good start.

Being in that break was as much about luck as it was design for all there, including Skill-shimano.
It worked well for them, but i wouldn't take it some great sign of team strength. But at least they have moxie.
Let the TTT show who the strong teams are.

Poor Cadel.
Not looking so hot in the TTT. :(
I kinda like this little team. I felt so bad how he got swept up today. (stage 5)
I miss Barloworld and Soler the Roach.
