They tore the asphalt out yesterday (Monday) from Batavia, north to Fabyan Parkway, on the west side of the river. Yesterday it was pretty hard packed gravel (rolled) with a few soft areas.

Not a bad surface for my Hybrid :p

They claim that they will have new asphalt down this week.

I wish they would replace that washboard by Quarry Park, going south out of Batavia.

Thanks for the heads up. The section they're replacing is bad; I never even ride on it AND you're right the section by the quarry south until the new asphalt starts is bad as well.
