So, I'm 61 and haven't been on a (real) bike in decades. However, I'm hooked up with about 25 teenagers in my church who are avid bikers and I 'threatened' to ride with them if they agreed to a trip. So, they agreed and I'm the proud owner of a new Trek 2.3 and a new Brooks saddle that I'm breaking in. (My initial reason for joining Bikeforums is to get some hints on breaking the saddle in a LITTLE faster!).
I'm in Indianapolis and our trip will visit 19 covered bridges in the rural west part of the state, camping out (and waterskiing) at a stake park in the evenings. My break-in trip of 26 miles last Saturday on rural roads was more than enjoyable. Looking forward to a long association with my new hobby.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
