Road Cycling - Koobi saddles.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just ordered an AU Enduro. I didn't know whether to go with the PRS or the Enduro. I figured I'd get the Enduro (slightly softer) and if it's too soft, just use it during Winter on the trainer. The chap I spoke to (VERY helpful guy) stated that the PRS was the better saddle for the road, but that it would be too hard for the trainer. All the reviews of the Enduro say it rocks as a road saddle too, so I played safe. Does anyone here have experience with the newer PRS Koobi saddle?

MacMan, if the newer KOOBI's are as good as the originals, you'll be happy. I've been riding on them for 4 yrs. with no complaints. Hey give a follow up in a few weeks & let us know if you feel you made the right choice. I might want to get a new one for the road bike as well.

I have a Koobi Silver, same basic padding level as the AU Enduro, and I am really pleased with it. I knocked off 100-125 miles a week in the summer and was comfortable as long as I shifted position occasionally. My longest ride on it was 109 miles, a century plus a LONG wrong turn with no discomfort. Never had any numbness either. I'm happy with mine and hope they have a similar product if/when it wears out. (Of course, your experience may vary.)
Good luck!
It should arrive mid next week. I plan on getting in 150+ next weekend so will give a "review" then, though I'm prepared for the fact that the first few rides may be uncomfortable if my bum needs to adjust to it. I've a century planned in 3 weeks, so will hope to put on plenty of miles before then. I'll post here on how it all goes!
I liked the saddle my bike came with - Selle Oktavia - but recently, after about 1500 miles in all, I find anything over 70 miles and I start to focus more on how bad my bum feels than anything else.
