This is highlights of the display on the 4th on Lake Wawasee in Northern Indiana. It rivals any city's display, IMO! Sorry about the crooked camera angle, I used a helmet cam and no viewfinder or screen and it was too dark to notice I was holding it crooked. :p

I put the pocket digicam on the ground, set it for no flash and 10 sec timer:

Good stuff- But not to burst Wawasee's moment, New York City's were unrivaled this year.

Wawasee's did kind of look like an air raid defense happening though at the fast points. :p
Taken last Saturday at the Great Lakes Naval Base independence day fireworks show.

I just removed 15 minutes of footage. The Wawasee display is overwhelming in it's entirety. It holds varying levels of that or near that intensity for the entire show. It's also real time, and not time compressed in any way. The entire show held a firing rate of 120-300 shots a minute, the whole time and a couple peaks of 10 shots a second. Total cost of the display topped $20 million.
