Bicycle Mechanics - Tech question about small bolts

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hi Guys, I'm renovating my Dave Yates custom mountain bike after a 7 year break. I need to replace some of the bolts such as brake boss bolts, bottle holder bolts, front derailleur pulley bolt etc. I've found a place that does all sizes and lengths of allen head bolts but don't know what metris sizes they need to be ie M3, M4, M5 ? It'd be cool if someone could help with this one :) .

M5 has a nominal diam of 5mm. etc etc
You can get stainless steel metric bolts at any ironmongers (US hardware store), cheaper than at bike shops.
Take the old bolts in if you need to.

Brilliant, cheers MichaelW - :p - it sounds kind of obvious put like that !
Update: I've just had a look online and I can't find anyone who does consumer sales. Are you English and if so, can you suggest anywhere that might do them ? I have the CPC and Demon Tweeks catalogues etc but they aren't much use...
Cheers, Guy.
