Today I bought a 2004 Cervelo P2k to replace a 2006 Trek Equinox 7 for my girlfriend. The Trek was too small of a frame for her. Cervelo was $1000.....and was supposedly ridden very little. Starting to question whether that was a good move. I didn't want to spend less than $1k and that's the best deal I found. Would love to hear anyone's opinions on that move......good or bad.
If she couldn't ride the Trek and the Cervelo fit that means the bike gets used which is a good thing.
Not that"m a lemming and would ever buy a Cervelo tho :P

Yeah, I agree, I just thought maybe $1k for the P2K was too much. And I meant to say in my original post that I didn't want to spend MORE than $1k. Seemed like a good deal for that bike......just wanted someone to reassure me :)

You already bought it - it's a moot point whether it's a good deal or not.
Hopefully it fits right & your girlfriend rides it. That was really the whole point, right?
